Late Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy:

- At SoPo Paws, we take great care to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for every pet. There is a lot going on behind the scenes to ensure each animal receives individual attention, care, and comfort. We work hard to accommodate every pet’s unique needs, and even small time delays can cause big disruptions to their routine and to the flow of our day.

To help us provide the best care possible, please review and follow our updated policy:

⏰ Early Drop-Offs:

 - Please do not drop off your pet more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time unless approved in advance.

Our groomers are often finishing up another pet and preparing the space right up until your appointment. Arriving too early can cause stress or delay and may result in a waiting period or an early drop-off fee.

Early drop-offs must be approved ahead of time to ensure we are able to accommodate them appropriately.

⏰ Late Drop-Offs:

 - Clients arriving 15 minutes or more past their scheduled appointment time will be charged a $15 late fee for every 15-minute increment.

Late drop-offs may result in rescheduling to keep other appointments on time. In some cases, the appointment may be considered a no-show and subject to our cancellation policy.

⏰ Late Pick-Ups:

 - We kindly ask that all pets be picked up within 30 minutes of notification that their grooming is complete.

A $15 late fee will be charged for every additional 15 minutes past this grace period.

🚫 Early Pick-Ups:

 - Please do not come in until you’ve heard from us that your pet is ready for pick-up.

If you need an update during your pet’s appointment, feel free to call us at 207-210-1914.

Showing up early can interrupt the grooming process and may cause your pet to become overly excited or anxious. This can result in us having to pause or stop the groom, even if we’re not finished.

📅 Scheduling Needs:

- If you have specific timing needs or limitations, please let us know before drop-off. This helps us plan accordingly and keep things running smoothly for everyone.

We appreciate your support in helping SoPo Paws remain a low-stress, pet-centered environment. Thank you for trusting us with your furry family members! 🐾

SoPo Paws Agreement:

We at SoPo Paws understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise that may cause you to miss your scheduled appointment. However, we kindly request that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an opening.

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment or cancel/reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of 50% of your original appointment fee to your account. This fee will be added to your next appointment's service charge.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected events can happen, and we will always try to accommodate your schedule to the best of our ability. However, frequent no-shows or late cancellations may result in the loss of your appointment privileges, and you may be required to prepay for your future appointments. Also remember that there are other furry pets waiting for services- let us get them in if you cannot make it!

We value your business and appreciate your understanding of our no-show policy. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at sopopaws@gmail.com.

Thank you for choosing SoPo Paws for your dog's grooming needs

Matted Pets: (Applies to grooming appointments)

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that my pet, as listed above, may have significant matting and/or tangles in its fur. I understand that this matting can cause discomfort, pain, and even injury to my pet during the grooming process.

I understand that the grooming salon cannot be held responsible for any injuries or adverse reactions caused by the matting, and I release them from any liability. I also understand that my pet may require additional services, including but not limited to dematting, which may result in additional charges.

I authorize the grooming salon to take any necessary actions to ensure the safety and well-being of my pet during the grooming process. I understand that if my pet's matting is too severe, the grooming salon may be unable to safely remove the mats and may need to shave the affected area or the entire coat.

I have read and understood the contents of this matted release form and agree to its terms and conditions. I certify that I am the legal owner or agent of the owner of the pet named above and have the authority to execute this release.

*We ask that all grooming (not bathing) clients sign this in case there is matting, small or big, anywhere on the pets body to help both parties understand the severity of mat removal. We appreciate you helping us so we can help your pups!*

    Senior Dogs: (Med/Large dogs 7+ / Small dogs 10+)

Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful especially for a senior dog or dogs with health problems. Because of this, grooming can expose hidden medical problems as well as aggravate a current one, whether it be during or after the groom. Because senior dogs and dogs with health problems have a greater risk of injury, these dogs will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort as SoPo Paws Pet Grooming will not compromise any dog's health and/or wellbeing to achieve “the perfect groom”. The dog owner will advise SoPo Paws Pet Grooming of any medical, physical, emotional issues, allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing conditions. These conditions may include, but are not limited to prior surgeries, hip and/or joint issues, warts, moles, ear infections or skin problems. The owner will also inform SoPo Paws Pet Grooming of new conditions as they arise. SoPo Paws Pet will not be responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming. By signing below, the owner is stating that SoPo Paws Pet Grooming has permission to groom their senior dog and has discussed any and all (past and present) health problems.
